Gonzalo, a farmer, lives with his family in Vadocondes, a small town in Ribera del Duero, in northern Castilla. Producing his own food, as tradition, has benefited him during this time of crisis in Spain, where the shutting down of factories, strikes and impositions from the food industry hamper small towns’ ability to survive.
