Lampedusainfestival is a cultural event that aims to tell stories too often forgotten, preserving the memory of the Mediterranean Sea and what it represents: a meeting point between distant worlds.

Lampedusainfestival, now at its sixth edition, wants to keep on addressing topics such as migration, civil liberties and the effects of globalisation on society, presenting open debates and different forms of art such as cinema, theatre, music, literature, etc.. To ensure the ideological and political independence of the event, and therefore a high level of critical analysis we chose to use, year after year, forms of financing from the bottom.

With your contribution you will help us to continue this work, to pass on the stories of the inhabitants of this island and of all those who have reached this shore, and moved away. To support the festival to retain its independence, we ask you to finance - even with a small gesture - this project, allowing us to give voice to both migrants and residents of Lampedusa, a place that everyone talks about, but no one really wants to listen to.
