The documentary shows the journey that the people of Sarayaku took in 2011 from the Amazon Rainforest to Costa Rica in order to present their case at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. The case Sarayaku v. Ecuador is about the encroaching of an oil company on this community’s traditional lands without consultation.
