Synopsis
Despite being Afghanistan’s best female boxer, Sadaf Rahimi must confront the traditions of her country, fear, and her own destiny to become a free woman. At only 13 years of age, she and her sister, Shabnam, joined the recently founded Afghan female boxing team when they returned to their country after having sought refuge in Iran. Sadaf’s boxing and academic achievements will turn her into an example for many Afghan women, though her path will be fraught with danger and challenges.
