After the 1973 military coup, 1282 political prisoners are transferred to Chacabuco, a former saltpeter office turned concentration camp. Isolated and with unhealed torture wounds, they come to understand that, to survive captivity, they will have to stand up not only against their captors, but also against an invisible enemy: madness.
