Jesser lives in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua, among sugarcane fields. The wooden huts in this area are in poor condition because they are built on dusty and heated ground. “We are living in the prison of sugarcanes! I’m going to plan a great escape!” he jokes. Despite his age, he is fully aware of the hopeless situation he and his family are in.
