Refuge introduces us into the universe of two indigenous Guatemalan ex-refugees who have carried on with their lives in Mexico despite the trauma they suffered during the Guatemalan genocide. This documentary addresses their difficult experience and personal processes of re-construction through the eyes of its young co-director, who narrates a shocking family history.
