Olivia needs to make a call to La Paz, where her children live, from the house where she works as a housekeeper in Buenos Aires, but the communication lines are making it difficult. One weekend, on her way home, she runs into an acquaintance who changes both her outlook on life and her wishes, reconnecting her with her roots.
