Through pictures of urban environments and close observations, Boy narrates the lives of a girl who is raised as a boy in Afghanistan and a young Afghan singer who now lives in London but wore boys’ clothing to feel free among fellow Afghans. The film questions the canons of heteronormativity that condition us as a society.
