Two young jockeys depend on the outcome of every race. In Sumbawa, the market for tiny jockeys is huge. If successful, they can support their families. Firman, 5, is starting out and tries to reach speeds of 70 km/h. Sila, 7, is one of the most in-demand among the young riders. But accidents are frequent. Many of them are crippled or die.
