Juliana, a feisty taxi driver, remembers her childhood as a shoe-shiner, surviving with her brother, Jorge. The orphans fled from an Ayacucho invaded by terrorism. With a heavy heart, she thinks of Jorge, who was kidnapped by the army. But Yorget, a client in trouble, gives her hope of resuming her fraternal relationship.
