Hassan is a homeless boy. His brother was accused of witchcraft and burned alive in front of him. His stepfather says he has the devil inside, so he escapes to avoid death. Hassan always has a recorder with him to tell us about his life, the lives of other children and the life of a beautiful, yet stuck in dangerous traditions, country.
