White Moss

By Vladimir Tumaev
premiere
The film takes place in the Tundra with its blizzards and frost, its deer and dogs, where Nenets people live and their herds of reindeer move swiftly through the white haze. The film tells the story of our hero, a young man that struggles between his love for a childhood friend —who left in search of a more comfortable lifestyle— and his duty towards the ancestral traditions and laws of the Tundra, such as survival.
