Waste Mandala

From 2011, a group of volunteers, called Green Soldiers, started to collect the garbage from the Himalayan peaks and Holy Sites in Nepal. Headed by Achut Gurung, they carry out a fight against plastic, indifference, and loss of cultural identity. They want to leave an indelible mark, to regain an ancient symbol starting from scrap: a huge Mandala.
