Tanzende Revolte am Bosporus

In May 2013, a growing number of people gathered in Taksim Square in central Istanbul. Provoked by the demolition of Emek Cinema and the city`s plan to remove Gezi Park, one of the few remaining green spaces in the center of the European side of Istanbul. The demonstrators response: spontaneous actions in form of concerts, street art and dance. We accompanied the creative resistance and met a generation that stands up for their rights, beginning to formulate their own vision of the future.
